Who am I?

Hello,

            My name is Ramzi. I was born on March 9^th, 1990 in Ain Drahem (Tunisia). In the year 2000, my father bought me a computer and now I can proudly say that computer has surely changed my life in a very positive manner. Initially I was in complete dilemma that How to use this machine? What I can do with this computer? I was a complete layman I spent days turning it just on and off but one thing was sure that I was in love with that machine.

With the passage of time, I was able to execute applications, install software’s and many questions starts raising in my head like how can people develop a software? How much time do they spend to develop a game? How much money can be made in this business? Since then, I wanted to create my own software. I wanted the entire world to use it and to be impressed with my creation. This urge has strengthened my ability to recognize the scope for improvement and also motivated me to look beyond the conventional functionalities of any machine.

To accomplish my dream, I enrolled in the Computer Science programme from September 2006, start looking for work experiences, participating in the events organised by Computer Science community. I participated in the Android Community “Tunandroid” in June 4^th, 2011. My experience at the community has provided a thorough exposure to the various specialities available in the computer Engineering, thus stimulating interest in advanced research. I was amazed by the idea of people around the world downloading and using your application .This Desire of creating my own mobile application pushed me to a next level and I start searching for tutorials, buying books, downloading samples… Finally, I developed my 1^st android application “Calculator”. It was a overwhelming experience when I saw my application running on a real phone. That feeling pushed me to develop more applications. After a month, I developed another Android application “Multiplication Table”.

Right now, I’m in the field of Mobile Application Development and I’m working as a freelancer in which I participate in development of mobile applications and also help people in developing their own applications It is a good approach to meet new people and to get nice personal and professional exposure. I’m glad that I am among few of the lucky ones who get a chance to turn his hobby into profession.
